Seacoast residents attend eco-conference in Sweden
I missed this entirely. While they were in Sweden, I must have been at the beach. From the Portsmouth Herald a week ago Sunday, a nice article about Burt Cohen and Skye Maher, Portsmouth residents who attended the International Eco-municipality Conference in Sweden last month. Cohen and Maher are also organizers of the Piscataqua Sustainability […]

Founded in 2006, NAP has clients and 10 rider-drivers in the Boston-Cambridge metro area, and, according to the Portsmouth Herald, is looking to expand into Portsmouth.

Coast ridership continues to rise

A day late, and while dodging raindrops, a dumped pump
I confess I did not dump the pump on the official day, that being Thursday, June 19th, but I did follow up with a belated pump-dump yesterday, leaving my car at home as I rode mass transit to work.
A brief, 15-minute walk to bus stop at the Hannaford Plaza on Islington Street, a twenty-minute ride on […]

Gas at $3 per gallon; how quaint
It was 18 months ago that I reported the price of gasoline to be hovering at just over $2 per gallon. At the time, I was proposing a stiff increase in gas taxes, to drive the price up to the outrageous price of $3 per gallon or higher. That I figured, would surely drive down […]
